Of A Second Chance and Ramadhan

Yesterday was CRAZY I tell you!

All the way from KL to PJ on LRT with my fellow clowns/camwhores/drunkards; Jacob & Benny.
All the way to catch Second Chance at my church.
(Talk about spirit eh! Beat all you PJ peeps FLAAT out I tell ya =P)

D&B&J

Now, imagine the look on my face when I saw approx. HUNDRED people lining up to get tickets at the Masjid Jamek Station!

"This people are supposed to be FASTING not berebut with me for my LRT tix!" *thought Derek*

But God loves me=)
Thank God for ticketing machines. The line was MUCH shorter there.
Hmmm, Malaysians ARE techno-illiterate I guess.
They'd rather line up behind a hundred stinky, sweaty people rather than get into a line at the ticketing machine along with less stinky, sweaty people.

Wasted around 15mins there.

I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN CHURCH AT 3.20 TO USHER!!!!!!

Me, Jacob & Benny were talking really LOUDLY about how Carrefour food tastes really good, JayaJusco staff being paid well & Benny's lift ( as in elevator) catching on fire.
We had our Muslim relatives staring at us when we were talking about the food=)

So we talked EVEN louder! BAHAHAHAH!

Best train ride of my life=)

When we arrived at Taman Paramount station, I was freaking out.
We were late (well, only me la), no taxi in sight & the station looks SCARILY deserted.

Jacob was AFRAID ( and he's the biggest guy around that I know of)
*snigger*

But as I said earlier, God loves us=)
There was ONE taxi right at the entrance.

As though waiting for us.

As though God-sent.

The play Second Chance was okay I guess?
Sorry guys, but I had really high hopes and was disappointed.
The plot was flat and it was not engaging.
Unlike Silver Airplanes last year which got me reaching for my packet of Carrefour tissues, there was no emotional connection for the play yesterday.
The stage and the audience were far apart. Even for scenes which were supposed to be touching, I just couldn't feel it.

Maybe it's just me.

Well, no offence to the production team who certainly worked their butts off.
Bravo to the the entire team for Harvest '08!
And the dances were GOOD=)

After the play was when the FUN really began.
Derek & Benjamin & Jacob ( according to height) decided to have dinner as J was hungry as usual while B was feeling feverish due to a 30min phone call =_=

Went to Wendy's.
Decided that we were broke enough.
Decided that we shall go to SS2 for some good-ol' charkueyteow & ice-kacang.

Until.....

We saw a Bazaar Ramadhan in front of JayaOne!

The three of us walked for like TEN times??
Before we decided to give in to the temptation of the ayam goreng which was wafting its aroma into our nostrils=)

YUMMY.

We bought food there and ate behind a bus stop, under a tree, on a picnic table!
Awesome eh!

We even bought FORKS from a minimarket to eat. Super semangat.

hahah.

Quote of the day.
(Benjamin buying fried kueyteow)

Stall helper : Nak cili tak?
Benjamin : Tak nak, tapi saya nak cili jeruk tu.
Stall helper : Pffft hahahaha.

To cut a long story short, we had fun & bought WAAAY too much food.

And Derek Kok touched a girl =_=
And stop calling me a perv, Benny!

All because I turned around to wave goodbye to B&J as I stepped out of the LRT & I ACCIDENTALLY touched a lady behind me.

But no fret, I didn't think I touched anything important (hahaha), most probably it was her thigh la.

Weird thing was; the lady smiled at me.

She was startled la at first, could see it on her face.
But only God knows why she smiled afterwards.
Either it's because I apologised or she liked it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

( I didn't notice la, but Ben said she was smoking hot)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Here are some pikchaas:
